Becario de la Fundación Carolina para el Curso De Desarrollo de Proyectos Cinematográficos Iberoamericanos organizado por IBERMEDIA y Casa de América en Madrid, España (2010). Guionista del largometraje Ausencia realizado con el apoyo de FOPROCINE, seleccionado por la Filmoteca de Andalucía para su ciclo de Cine Mexicano Contemporáneo (2010), seleccionado para los Festivales Internacionales de Cine en El Cairo y Bombay (2009). Guionista seleccionado para el prestigioso taller “Cómo Contar un Cuento” impartido por Gabriel García Márquez en la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños (2007). Guionista del largometraje Hasta el viento tiene miedo dirigido por Gustavo Mohenocon el apoyo de FIDECINE (2007). Ganador del Primer Premio con guión Tuna King en el Concurso Internacional de Guión de Largometraje convocado por el Ministerio de Cultura de Venezuela y el Festival Internacional de Cine de Caracas (2006). Guionista del largometraje Puños Rosas dirigido por Beto Gómez con el apoyo de FIDECINE (2005). Segundo Premio con el relato Maraca en el Primer Concurso Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil convocado por Editorial McMillan-Castillo (2000). Finalista al Premio Gran Angular con la novela Zapatos de Cocodrilo, publicada en España bajo la Colección Alerta Roja de SM Ediciones (1999). Segundo Premio al guión para cortometraje Nopales y Guajolotes en el V Concurso Nacional de Guiones de Cortometraje convocado por el IMCINE (1999). Guionista seleccionado por el Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía para el programa de Estímulo a Creadores Cinematográficos 1998 con el guión de largometraje Piel de Serpiente.
