MARTHA OROZCO
Productora Mexicana. Especialista en Pitching y Desarrollo de Proyectos. Obtiene una beca del MEDIA MUNDUS para el EURODOC 2011 (Programa Europeo para Profesionales del Documental) para la Especialización de Productores en Financiación y Coproducción Europea, así como Distribución y Estudios de Mercados Internacionales, que se lleva a cabo en Croacia, Francia y Budapest.
Docente en activo desde el 2004, impartiendo clases de Producción en el Instituto de Cine en Madrid y la Universidad Complutense, así como la cátedra de Producción en la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños Cuba (EICTV) y en el Centro de Estudios Universitarios México (CUEC).
Actualmente es Tutora de DocTV Latinoamérica. Desde el 2006 tiene a su cargo la tutoría de proyectos en desarrollo de ficción y documental para Productores de Latinoamérica en el MORELIA LAB.
Del 2008 al 2011 coordina el área de documental en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica México (CCC). También ha colaborado en la asesoría de desarrollo de proyectos de ficción del taller de óperas primas del CCC-CUEC.
Co escribe el libro Manual Básico de Producción Cinematográfica, editado por el Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía (IMCINE), el CCC y CUEC.
Durante el mismo período crea “Cine-fabrica de Redes”, empresa especializada en la capacitación y desarrollo de habilidades para productores, realizando más de 50 talleres de producción en México y Latinoamérica y colaborando con Ibermedia, Talent Campus, Doculab, Cinergia Lab, Nuevas Miradas, DocTV Latinoamérica, Ambulante, Coproduction Border ESGAE, entre otros.
Asimismo, ha sido evaluadora de proyectos en fondos internacionales, colaborando con El Fondo Audiovisual en Chile y El Consejo Nacional de Cinematografía de Ecuador. Ha sido miembro deL Jurado Internacional en Leipzig 2012 y en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara 2013 (FICG).
Realiza estudios de Producción Ejecutiva en la “EICTV” y en “Film Business School de Lubeck-Alemania MEDIA”, donde se especializa en análisis de proyectos y pitching.
En su periodo en España, realizó estudios de “Medios Alternativos de Distribución” y “Gestión Cultural”; así como la especialización de “Dirección Documental”.
Productora enfocada en docuemntales primeras y segundas películas. Sus últimas producciones “Cuates de Australia” de Everardo González y “Morir de pie” de Jacaranda Correa fueron seleccionadas en competencia IDFA 2011 y galardonados como Mejor documental FICG. Nominada durante 3 años consecutivos por la Academia Mexicana de Cinematografía en la categoría de Mejor Documental (producidos por ella).
MARTHA OROZCO
Mexican Producer. Specialist in Pitching and Projects Development. She obtained a grant from the MEDIA MUNDUS to attend EURODOC 2011 (Programme for European Documentary Professionals) for the Specialization of Producers in Financing and European Co-production as well as Distribution and Study of International Film Markets, which is carried out in Croatia, France and Budapest.
Teaching active since 2004, she teaches Production at the Film Institute in Madrid and Complutense University, the chair of Production of the International School of Cinema and Television of San Antonio de los Baños Cuba (EICTV) and the University Center for Film Studies Mexico (CUEC).
She is currently tutor of DocTV Latin America. Since 2006 she is responsible for mentoring projects in development of documentary and fiction for producers of Latin America in the MORELIA LAB.
From 2008 to 2011 she coordinates the area of documentary of the Center of Cinematographic Training Mexico (CCC). She has also collaborated on the advice of fiction feature film development projects of the raw operas workshop in CCC and CUEC.
She co writes the book “Basic Manual of Film Production”, edited by the Mexican Film Institut (IMCINE), CCC and CUEC.
During the same period, she creates "Cine-Fábrica Redes", company specializing in the training and development of skills for producers, making more than 50 production workshops in Mexico and Latin America and collaborating with Ibermedia, Talent Campus, Doculab, Cinergia Lab, Nuevas Miradas, DocTV Latinoamérica, Ambulante, Coproduction Border ESGAE, among others.
She has also been evaluator of projects in international funds, collaborating with the Audiovisual Fund in Chile and the National Council of Cinematography of Ecuador. She has been member of international jury in Leipzig 2012 and Guadalajara International Film Festival 2013 (FICG).
She studied Executive Production in the "EICTV" and the "Film Business School in Lübeck-Germany MEDIA", where specializes in analysis of projects and pitching.
During her period in Spain, she studied "Alternative Means of Distribution" and "Cultural Management"; as well as the specialization of “Documentary Film Direction".
She is a producer focused on first and second documentary films. Her latest film productions "Drought" by Everardo González and "Morir de pie" by Jacaranda Correa were selected at IDFA 2011 competition and awarded as Best Documentary Films at FICG. She has been nominated for 3 consecutive years by the Mexican Academy Film as Best Documentary Film (produced by her). |
